In MOMENTOS, Leona is devastated with her parents, the King and Queen, who have done nothing to assist in their country’s revolution against colonisers. After running away from home, she finds Alejan who has the magic ability to tell stories so powerfully they cause hallucinations. They ban together with the head of the revolution to attempt to end the battle.

VISIONES DEL CUERPO is an immersive play where an ensemble guides the audience into the body and mind of Latinx individual. Poetic monologues reveal secrets and tenderness throughout the hands all the way to the feet. The ensemble attends to the songs and sorrows of the mind, soul and body as familiar and long lost things resurface and rejoice, turning blood into oil paints and brain matter into dance floor: this piece is a meditation on all that has ever been stored in one’s body. A reminder of where we come from and a regeneration of cells and memories.

Gente Del Sol

Featured on The Kilroys List in 2023, named a semifinalist in the STX Latinx new play festival, accepted into The Tank NYC’s MexFest 2024

In Gente Del Sol, Valeria and Leonardo are at a crossroads. Leonardo, manic, seeks professional help. Unsatisfied with western medicine, Leonardo seeks a second opinion from someone that can speak to Mexican culture and Indigenous practices. Valeria does not feel capable of leaving Leonardo in his time of need but finds herself falling for Fern. This play uses magical realism to explore the intricacies of personal identity, sexuality, and interracial relationships.

Won a BIPOC New Work Grant with Cannonball Fest, Received grant funding from Young Arts Foundation, written up in the Philly Inquirer under ‘5 Shows in 2023 Not to Miss’

MANFLOR Is a one act play that follows Zeta, an addict, as they have a wild peyote trip through Philadelphia. They encounter characters like the Genderweird and Billie Joe Armstrong of Greenday, and the spirit of addiction trying everything possible to get out of their trip and back to reality.

black lung deja vu

  • Interact Theatre Co by 24 Hour Plays with direction by Carly Bodnar 

Black Lung Deja Vu packs an existential punch. Storm and Pluto find a bell that, when wrung, will change reality as they know it. Finding a sort of code, the two explore the multiverse with different bell rings. The narrator, an omnipresent being, guides us through Storm and Pluto’s despair as they go deeper and deeper into a world of existential options. From poetry on physics to coal miners deaths to photosynthesis, discover what end Storm and Pluto will succumb to in this quick paced play.

Dariel is back home from war and staying with his strange sister who practices Santeria. Having trouble adjusting, he begins to see the ghost of his deceased husband. Dariel finds himself in a psychiatric hospital and the people he meets there change everything he thought he knew about himself.

the we prophecy

Following a spiritual experience in an art museum with a hallucinated baby, Ana asks her boyfriend to impregnate her so she can fulfill The We Prophecy. Completely engrossed in fulfilling the prophecy- Ana risks everything so that We can be born, and can help her change the future for all life on Earth.
